Merino, Silk & Yak

Merino, Silk & Yak is a beautiful luxurious yarn to work with.  Not only does it have a lovely sheen due to the silk content but it also have the most amazing drape which makes it perfect for Shawls or other garments that require a lovely drape.   If you have that special project to knit or crochet then this might be the perfect yarn for you.

The base for our MSY is a light grey colour which give the colours a greater depth of shade.  You get an almost heathered look with the colour of the Yak popping through or deepening.

We currently stock our MSY in a 4 Ply (fingering - 366 metres per 100 gram skein) and 8 Ply (DK - 212 metres per 100 gram skein) weight and will be adding to our colour range over time.  The mix of yarn is 60% Merino - 20% Silk and 20% Yak.
